APC11 – Volunteer Application
Thankyou for volunteering to support the Australasian Permaculture Convergence 2012. We will need plenty of help before, during and after the event to make sure it all runs smoothly.
We also plan to have several working bees between now and April for those who are already in New Zealand and can spare some time and effort to come and help prepare for our fabulous event! Let us know if you want to take part in these and we will send you more details when the dates are confirmed.
Mostly, though, volunteers will work between April 4th and April 18th and hopefully there will be plenty of people arriving early to help with the set-up.
Training for volunteers will be on Tuesday April 10th and you should have arrived by then.
Everyone who wants to attend the Australasian Permaculture Convergence must register and pay. This includes volunteers - most of the speakers are also volunteers in this sense.
If you work a total of 24 hours during the convergence (April 10-16th inclusive), we will refund the non-food part of your fee. (food part is $120)
There are a number of areas where we need volunteers. Please mark three that you feel best match your skills and interests. We will try and place you in your chosen area of work but may have to allocate you elsewhere if needed.
